What You'll Do

Provide Information Technology (IT) staff augmentation services in support of the Department’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) in a multiyear cloud initiative to lead the design and implementation of a Microsoft Cloud architecture aligned with the Department’s business and IT strategies

Provide the qualified part-time Director, Enterprise Architecture proposed in its Response, and selected by the Department, who has the experience and ability to fulfill the requirements of this Statement of Work (SOW)

Lead the creation and / or evolution of the Microsoft Cloud architecture function / program including coordination of an appropriately balanced pursuit of enterprise business, information, technical, and solution architectures

Lead the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers to develop Microsoft Cloud architecture requirements

Analyze technology industry and market trends and determine potential impact upon the Department

Lead the development of Microsoft Cloud architecture governance structure based on business and IT strategies

Oversee Microsoft Cloud architecture implementation and ongoing refinement activities

Direct the development and execution of a communication (including education) plan for Microsoft Cloud architecture standards

What You'll Need

Required :

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience

A minimum of 10 years of IT and business / industry work experience including Microsoft Cloud architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations, with 3 years of leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.

Experience leading in creation and / or evolution of the Microsoft Cloud architecture function / program including coordination of an appropriately balanced pursuit of enterprise business, information, technical, and solution architectures

Experience leading in the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers to develop Microsoft Cloud architecture requirements

Experience analyzing technology industry and market trends and determining potential impact upon the Department

Experience Leading the development of a Microsoft Cloud architecture governance structure based on business and IT strategies

Experience overseeing Microsoft Cloud architecture implementation and ongoing refinement activities

Experience directing the development and execution of a communication (including education) plan for Microsoft Cloud architecture standards

Excellent communication and documentation skills. (Proficient in English)
