Verland is excited to welcome a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to our team. In this essential role, you'll provide Exceptional Care to the individuals who call Verland home.

Available Shifts :

Full Time

12-Hour Shifts

1st and 2nd Shift Opportunities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) , you will provide nursing care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON). This is an hourly, non-exempt position.

Your Contributions Will Include :

• Administering and documenting prescribed medications and treatments.
• Assessing the physical status of individuals daily and reporting any unusual behavior or condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Assisting with physician visits as assigned.
• Documenting care provided to individuals daily, quarterly, and annually.
• Collaborating with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to develop and implement health care plans for assigned individuals, and participating in staffing and ITR reviews.
• Attending Nursing Department committee meetings as assigned.
• Performing additional related duties as required.

Requirements :

• Must have a strong knowledge of professional standards and current nursing trends.
• Ability to understand individual records and physicians' orders, and communicate information effectively.
• Capability to establish strong working relationships with IDT members.
• Proficient in documenting care in accordance with professional and legal standards.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Graduate of a recognized one-year practical nurse program with current Pennsylvania registration.
• A minimum of one year experience in an acute care facility or related field (rehabilitation or extended care).
• Must have all required clearances and maintain a valid driver's license.
