Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Associate to join our finance team. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our organization by managing incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the overall revenue cycle management. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of journal entries, coding, and credit analysis.

Duties

• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing.
• Manage accounts receivable functions by generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Conduct credit analysis to assess the creditworthiness of clients and vendors.
• Prepare journal entries to ensure accurate financial records are maintained.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Negotiate payment terms with vendors to optimize cash flow.
• Maintain organized records of all transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

Qualifications

Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices.

Familiarity with revenue cycle management processes is preferred.

Proficiency in coding financial transactions accurately.

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
