Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead a newly formed Hardware Integration & Test team. You will be at the forefront of bringing our humanoid robot platform to life, ensuring every physical component is meticulously integrated and rigorously tested. This is a critical leadership role for an engineer with deep expertise in both hands-on hardware development and strategic team management.

Responsibilities include :

• Leading and mentoring a team of engineers and technicians specializing in the integration, test, and verification of complex robotic systems.
• Owning all aspects of wiring and harness design and integration, ensuring the creation of robust, manufacturable, and reliable power and data distribution systems.
• Owning configuration management, including all aspects of revision control, and the creation and maintenance of accurate top level System Bills of Materials (BOM) for the robot and all auxiliary equipment.
• Directing prototypes hardware integration and bring-up, guiding the team through the physical assembly, initial power-on, and functional testing of all new hardware designs.
• Developing and releasing kinematic and dynamic calibration schemes to ensure the robot's physical model is precisely aligned with its software and control systems.
• Driving design verification by creating and executing comprehensive test plans at both the component and assembly levels to ensure all hardware meets design specifications.
• Leading HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testbed development, building and maintaining sophisticated test environments for rapid, safe, and repeatable verification of new hardware and software, fully integrated into our CI / CD pipeline.
