Position Summary :

This position’s primary responsibility is to develop customer centered solutions that drive incremental sales growth and deliver against annual plan. Incumbent must add value to the team by growing new and existing customers within an assigned territory, implementing Corporate Headquarter Sales strategies, and communicating strategy and executing plans to support and grow designated corporate accounts.

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Corporate Account Manager to lead and grow strategic relationships with national foodservice distributors — Sysco, US Foods, and PFG. This individual will manage corporate-level initiatives, develop joint business plans, and drive volume growth through deep collaboration with internal teams and distributor counterparts. The ideal candidate is a self-starter that has a keen ability to develop relationships, manage a matrix customer organization, work with colleagues to drive initiatives. Incumbent must driven to add value to the team by growing new and existing customers within an assigned territory, implementing Corporate Headquarter Sales strategies, and communicating strategy and executing plans to support and grow designated corporate accounts.

Requirements : Account Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Sysco, US Foods, and PFG at the national or corporate level.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with each distributor’s goals and growth initiatives.
  • Manage distributor HQ relationships, including culinary, category management, and procurement teams.

Sales Growth & Execution

  • Drive volume, revenue, and distribution of core and new product lines.
  • Lead bid and contract negotiations, including pricing, trade spend, and marketing support.
  • Collaborate with field sales and broker teams to execute programs at local operating companies.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with marketing, supply chain, customer service, finance, and R&D to support distributor initiatives.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and top-to-top meetings with distributor leadership.
  • Data & Insights

  • Analyze sales performance, identify white space, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Use tools such as IDR, ClearView, or distributor portals to track KPIs and compliance.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Food Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7-10 years in foodservice sales or distributor account management (Sysco / US Foods / PFG experience highly preferred).
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Power-point, pricing and trade programs)
  • Strong knowledge of distributor structures, processes, and decision-making hierarchies.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales growth, new item placement, and joint business planning.
  • Experience managing complex trade spend and national account pricing structures.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel 60–75% of the time.
  • Preferred Experience :

  • Direct relationships with customer HQ base : SYSCO, GFS, PFG, Etc
  • Experience in protein, CPG, or perishable food categories.
  • Familiarity with GS1, GDSN, or other data synchronization tools.
  • Understanding of multi-unit foodservice operators and chain business.

    Competitive base salary ranging from $140,000- $200,000 annually. Base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Full benefits package including performance-based bonus, car program, medical / vision / dental / life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including an annual incentive program based on individual and company performance.
