Enterprise Engineering Leader (GCP & Integrations)

TITLE : Enterprise Engineering Leader

LOCATION : Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

DIRECT HIRE POSITION

Responsibilities :

• Guide the architecture and technical strategy for enterprise-scale integrations and backend systems.
• Lead a pod of 3–4 engineers, providing mentorship, solution direction, and engineering oversight.
• Collaborate with other architects and cross-functional teams on system design, scalability, and best practices.
• Contribute hands-on coding (approx. 10–50% depending on project phase) with a primary focus on leadership, architecture, and system design.
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, standards, observability, and CI / CD improvements.
• Design and build GCP-based microservices supporting high-scale, high-volume enterprise workloads.
• Build custom REST and GraphQL APIs, enabling data integration across multiple internal and external systems.
• Lead enterprise system integrations, especially around ERP (NetSuite strongly preferred).
• Support integration initiatives in inventory, item master, financials, product catalog, and fulfillment.
• Oversee CI / CD pipelines (Terraform, Kubernetes, containerization) and cloud infrastructure patterns.
• Partner on enterprise observability strategy using Datadog or similar platforms.
• Improve performance, reliability, and system health across high-load distributed services.

Requirements :

Preferred Experience :

The compensation range for this position is $160,000.00 to $240,000.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
