About The Position

Job Title : Polysomnographer

Profession : Cardiopulmonary

Specialty : Polysomnographer

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night shift

Hours per Shift : 3-12s per week; Monday-Friday, working 3-5 nights per week

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Certifications : Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent

Must-Have :

Experience with Cadwell sleep program preferred.

Education : Associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography or successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year duration associated with a state licensed and / or a nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician.

Description :

Performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis.

Conducts associated interventions under the general oversight of a clinical director or designee.

Meets the standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.
