Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Youth Cooking Instructor to lead engaging cooking classes for children. The instructor will be responsible for teaching culinary skills, food safety, nutrition basics, and fostering a fun, hands-on learning environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about cooking, enjoys working with young people, and can adapt teaching methods to various age groups and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver interactive cooking lessons for youth (6-11 year olds)
• Teach fundamental cooking techniques, safe food handling, and kitchen etiquette
• Manage classroom / kitchen setup, supplies, and cleanup before and after classes
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during cooking activities
• Encourage creativity, teamwork, and confidence in the kitchen
• Provide guidance and adapt recipes to meet different dietary needs when applicable
• Track student progress and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
