Senior Underwriter (Workers' Compensation) - Full-time

Location : Spring Valley, NY

Required Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial insurance experience with at least 3 years of Workers' Compensation underwriting individual accounts.
• Demonstrates accuracy, attention to detail, and thoroughness.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide a high level of customer service.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments.
• Ability to assess business opportunities with brokers and clients by understanding their problems and needs.
• Efficient management of accounts.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Internet software and Microsoft Products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
