Position : ICU RN (Critical Care – 2nd Floor ICU)

Location : Grafton, WI – Level III Trauma Center | Level II NICU | Primary Stroke Center

Facility Size : 136 beds | ICU : 17 beds

Shift Options :

Days : 07 : 00–19 : 30

Nights : 19 : 30–07 : 00

Every other weekend | No on-call | 1-day orientation

Experience :

3+ years ICU experience required

CRRT (NxStage) experience preferred

First-time travelers accepted (with 3 yrs ICU exp)

Patient Types :

Medical : COVID, sepsis, ETOH, OD, delirium, stroke (TPA), ARF

Surgical : general, ortho, ENT, OBGYN

Cardiac / Vascular : CABG, valve, post-cath, AAA, amputations

Excludes : complex neuro / post-TNK

Ratios :

RN : 1 : 2 (acuity-based)

CNA : 1 : 8 days | 1 : 17 nights

Certifications : Required : BLS, ACLS

Preferred : NIHSS

Required Skills :

Vent / trach management, invasive lines (A-line, CVP, Swann), drains, chest tubes, post-surgical recovery, fresh heart (preferred), CRRT, balloon pump.

Floating :

To Intermediate (1 : 3), MSU, ED boarding (1 : 4), Observation (1 : 4) — travelers float first.

Support Staff :

24 / 7 Intensivist & RT, Charge RN (occasional assignment), ICU Pharmacist (days), Phlebotomy, Educator, Unit Secretary (days).

Charting & Equipment :

Epic, Alaris, Pyxis

Other Info :

COVID vaccine required

Scrubs : any color (no camo / denim / hoodies)

More than 2 sick calls may result in contract review
