High Desert Milk is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Diesel Mechanic to join our transportation and maintenance team! This role involves advanced diagnostics, engine rebuilds, and ensuring our fleet of trucks and trailers stays on the road safely and efficiently.

• What You’ll Do
• Perform advanced repairs and diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Rebuild engines and major components as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers.
• Respond to after-hours or phone calls for fleet support.
• Keep detailed service records and maintain a clean work area.
• What We’re Looking For
• 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience (truck and trailer) required.
• Strong technical skills and ability to rebuild engines and components.
• Solid understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.
• Formal Diesel Tech education or certification preferred.
• Willing to work 40+ hours / week and take calls as needed.

Job Type : Full-time

Base Pay : $28.25 - $35.23 per hour

Expected hours : No less than 40 per week

Education :

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience :

• fleet maintenance : 1 year (Preferred)
• Diesel engine repair / rebuild : 3 years (Required)
