Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery - Palm Springs, CA

Join a dynamic team of Neurosurgeons and advanced practice providers in providing exceptional care to the Coachella Valley community at an exciting Level 1 trauma center in beautiful Palm Springs California. We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to assist in the management of inpatient consults, as well as provide support in the outpatient clinic setting.

Position Details :

• Shifts : 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours. One weekend per month.
• Inpatient Consults : Assist with the evaluation and management of inpatient neurosurgery consults.
• Assist with elective and emergent surgery.
• Clinic : APP provides care of post op and elective patients in the outpatient clinic.
• Overtime : Ample opportunity for additional hours and overtime.
• Salary Range : 150,000 - 176,800

General Summary : Under a collaborative agreement with a physician, provides patient care and education to assigned caseload of patients in accordance with established practice guidelines.

Essential Job Responsibilities :

Education : Graduate of an approved and accredited Physician Assistant master’s program.

Certification : Physician Assistant license to practice in the state. CPR Certified. DEA registration with state.

Experience : Highly prefer two years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant.
