Job Summary / Description :

KCTV, Kansas City is looking for someone with an eye for news, and someone with the creativity to tell stories through the lens of their camera. You must be self-motivated, have good communication skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Primary duties include gathering video, interviews, and information, editing for broadcast and digital / social platforms, setting up / executing live shots, knowledge in ENG cameras, using cellular Live broadcast devices (Live U) and other duties as assigned.

Duties / Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Gathering video, and sound for stories
• Shoot daily live shots
• Editing stories for television, web
• Contribute to the entire editorial process, including sourcing, enterprising, gathering, story construction, and presentation
