✨ Position Overview :

Title : Neonatologist (Full-Time)

Location : Topeka, KS

Practice Size : 5 Neonatologists

Shift Model :

Mix of 8- and 24-hour in-house shifts

~170 hours / month (1.0 FTE)

In-house call with backup from home

Clinical Environment :

NICU Level : Level III

Beds : 36-bed unit

Avg. Daily Census : 26

Avg. Length of Stay : 19 days

Annual Admissions : ~500

Advanced Services :

High-frequency ventilation

Inhaled nitric oxide

Whole-body therapeutic cooling

Subspecialty Support : Cardiology, Neurology, General Surgery, Endocrinology

Joint Commission Certified in the care of premature infants since 2012

Teaching & Growth :

Open to Fellows (must be BC in Pediatrics)

✅ Requirements :

Board Certified in Pediatrics

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine

Fellowship-trained in Neonatology – Completed prior to start

Kansas License – Or willing to obtain

DEA license – Must be obtained prior to start

Clean malpractice and license history – Highly Preferred
