Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Dedicated professionals with a specialization in visual impairment education are sought for an exciting opportunity in San Bernardino, CA. This position is designed for teachers who are passionate about fostering learning in K-12 students with visual impairments. The role is full-time and involves working in-person, estimated at 35 hours per week, within an itinerant capacity across various schools.

Qualifications :

  • Valid teaching credential in Visual Impairment
  • Experience with IEP development and implementation
  • Familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, including with other educators and support staff

Location : San Bernardino, CA

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to enhance student learning
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with visual impairments
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
