Store Manager
Manages the operation of a Walgreen store. Improves store sales, profitability and image through proper merchandising, protection of store assets, the selection, training and development of team members, and modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer and patient experience.
Job Responsibilities / Tasks Customer Experience
- Monitors and analyzes the customer service provided by team members.
- Greets customers and offers assistance with products and services.
- Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members.
- Resolves customer complaints and helps respond to customers special needs.
Operations
Supervises operation of the store and pharmacy.Supervises the control of the store money.Supervises merchandising.Analyzes inventory trends.Manages receiving, stocking, pricing, returning, and transferring of merchandise.Ensures execution of District Manager operational feedback.Manages store organization.Ensures the store / grounds are clean.Manages operations of assigned location.Ensures staff has working knowledge of all computer and technology systems.Complies with all company policies.Completes special assignments.Daily Planning and Execution
Assigns daily operational tasks.Business Performance Management
Analyzes financial and performance data.Reviews KPIs and prepares for district management.Reviews and analyzes asset protection data.Analyzes pharmacy performance indicators.Analyzes clinic performance indicators.Business Planning
Identifies sales opportunities.Manages inventory levels.People and Performance Management
Manages team member performance.Monitors and ensures timely completion of training.Makes hiring, promotion, and termination decisions.Addresses issues and disciplines team members.Develops employee performance plans.Monitors and approves team member compensation.Promotes teamwork and motivates team members.Ensures compliance with all policies.Communicates regularly.Training and Personal Development
Participates in company and on-the-job training.Follows performance improvement plans.Obtains pharmacy technician registration.Seeks self-development.Communications
Serves as liaison between district, corporate, and the store.Conducts community outreach.Assists District Manager in community events.External Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma / GED and 5 years of retail management experience.Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed Rph as soon as possible given state law requirements.Willingness to work flexible schedule.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree.PTCB or ExCPT Certification.Three years retail management experience.Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed Rph.We will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

The actual salary within this range that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors.
