Position Summary Stonehill College is accepting applications for a part-time Adjunct faculty position of computer Science, beginning Spring 2025. The position involves teaching upper-level computer science courses. Adjunct faculty appointments typically involve teaching one or two courses in a semester. The position is on-site instruction only. The College is seeking qualified applicant to teach Operating Systems in the Spring 2025 semester.

  • Teach assigned classes.
  • Create Syllabus
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of student enrollment, attendance, and academic progress.
  • Provide academic assistance and related services to students during scheduled office hours.
  • Review coursework by students and provide specific, highly qualitative, and useful feedback.

Education and / or Experience At least a master’s degree in Computer Science.

A Ph.D. Computer Science is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, the department is especially interested in candidates who can teach upper-level core computer science courses such as Operating Systems and Computer Networks.
