Job Summary

The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative supports patient care by performing high-quality specimen collection and maintaining a professional, patient-centered environment. This role represents the face of the organization , ensuring each patient interaction is handled with accuracy, compassion, and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervisor direction.

Maintain a safe and professional environment for patients and coworkers.

Confidently perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures.

Verify patient demographic information and signatures post-venipuncture to ensure proper labeling.

Maintain required records and documentation with accuracy.

Promote a positive organizational image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Travel as needed to cover multiple locations with minimal notice.

Train at various locations depending on trainer availability.

Required Experience

1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Customer service background in retail or service environments is highly preferred.

Keyboard / data entry experience required.

Nice-to-Have Experience

Medical assistant or paramedic training.

Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required only in CA, NV, WA).

Experience working independently with minimal supervision.

Required Skills

Strong pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy skills

Ability to provide error-free work in fast-paced environments

Decision-making based on established procedures

Preferred Skills

Superior customer focus and communication

Ability to handle multiple priorities

Flexibility for weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call needs

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)

Additional Skills

Ability to work multiple locations with minimal notice

Commitment to dress code, safety, and operational guidelines

Openness and transparency in communication with peers and supervisors

Shift / Hours

Monday-Thursday, 7 : 00 AM-4 : 00 PM
