Job Summary :
The MRI Technician is responsible for performing MRI procedures, including abdomen, pelvis, cardiovascular, chest, head, neck, musculoskeletal, and spine imaging. They will work with a Level I trauma center and must have experience with Cerner. The role involves working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, with on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities :
Front-end (UI) : You can create the UI using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Back-end (Python) : Your Python script needs to run in the background and respond to the start / stop commands from the front-end.
Server : You'll need a back-end server to handle communication between the front-end and the Python script. Flask or FastAPI is often used for this purpose.
Required Skills & Certifications :
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience.
- ARRT-MR preferred.
- Active license to apply.
- Required Abdomen and Pelvis MRI Skills / Experience : Abdomen, Abdominal Magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA), Abdominal Magnetic resonance venography (MRV), Female Pelvis, Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP), Male Pelvis.
- Required Cardiovascular MRI Skills / Experience : MR Angio Lower Extremity with Bilateral Runoff.
- Required Chest MRI Skills / Experience : Chest.
- Required Head and Neck CT Experience / Skills : Brain, Cranial Nerves, Face / soft tissue neck, Head Magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA), Head Magnetic resonance venography (MRV), Neck Magnetic Resonance Venography (MRV), Orbits.
- Required Musculoskeletal MRI Skills / Experience : Foot, Hand, Hip / Bony pelvis, Knee, Lower extremity long bones, Shoulder, Sternum, Temporomandibular joint with / without contrast, Upper extremity long bones.
- Required Special Imaging Procedure Skills / Experience : CINE (Cerebrospinal fluid flow study), Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Maximum intensity projection (MIP), Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), Perfusion, Peripheral Magnetic resonance angiography (Iliac, runoff), Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T-1 Weighted Images, T-2 Weighted Images.
- Required Spine Case MRI Skills / Experience : Cervical, Lumbar, Sacrum / coccyx, Spinal trauma, Thoracic, Thoracic Magnetic resonance angiography.
- Cerner experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications :
Level I Trauma experience.Special Considerations :
On-call required as needed.Will work weekends and holidays as needed for the department.Ideally, no more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO).Must be in IL 3 business days prior to compliance HDD in order to meet fingerprinting requirements.Scheduling :
