Weights & Research Inspector - Night Shift
What you'll need to succeed as a Weights & Research Inspector at XPO :
Minimum qualifications :
- 4 years of work or military experience
- Ability to explain and document classification corrections for all involved parties
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Ability to effectively navigate the internet using specific keywords for research
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
Preferred qualifications :

Expected pay range : $26.38 to $34.75 per hour. Review inspection reports to identify potential issuesConduct inspections of shipments on the dock utilizing handheld devicesReview BOL and billing descriptions to verify accuracyGather information related to the shipment, including dimensions, pictures, and commodity characteristicsResearch commodity information using the National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC) for applicable description and classIssue document corrections based on the applicable provisions from the NMFCUpload documents / pictures into the image system for reviewMaintain the reports necessary to measure corrections activity and revenue recoveryWeights & Research Inspectors are required to :
Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75 lbs.Stand, sit or walk for extended periodsReach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneelAbout XPO :
