Job Title : Temporary HR Generalist

Location : Valencia, CA (Fully Onsite)

Pay Rate : $33–$40 / hour (DOE)

Duration : Temporary – covering maternity leave, through end of January 2026

About the Role :

We are seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to join our client’s team in Valencia. This is a fully onsite, temporary role covering a maternity leave through the end of January. The ideal candidate is an adaptable HR professional with solid generalist experience, particularly in leave management (LOA / FMLA), workers’ compensation claims, and all around HR related duties, who can jump in quickly and provide support across all core HR functions. We are looking for someone who can start ASAP!

Key Responsibilities :

• Act as the primary point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations
• Manage and support leave of absence (LOA) requests, FMLA administration, and workers’ compensation claims, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Managing time and attendance tracking, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions
• Support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration
• Partner with managers and employees to address HR-related inquiries with professionalism and discretion
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting
• Handle HR administrative tasks such as recordkeeping, file maintenance, and data entry into HRIS systems
