Academic Physicians - Pediatric Hospital Medicine #PED126a

Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Hospital Medicine, is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank. Appointees will provide patient care to hospitalized children at Comer Children's Hospital and serve as collaborative physician leaders in a busy, dynamic environment. Appointees should have exceptional interprofessional and interpersonal skills to work with colleagues, patients, and patients' families. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must : 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board certified or eligible in General Pediatrics, and 4) have completed an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program.
