Vice President of Finance - Restaurants

Position Summary :

The Vice President of Finance will be a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial planning, reporting, accounting, and risk management. This leader will play a critical role in supporting growth initiatives, optimizing profitability, and driving financial discipline across the organization. The ideal candidate has deep experience in the restaurant or multi-unit retail sector, a hands-on leadership style, and the ability to scale finance functions in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.Key Responsibilities :

• Lead all aspects of the finance and accounting function, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, treasury, and tax.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with company growth plans.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, including new restaurant openings, remodeling projects, franchise expansion, and M&A opportunities.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations to internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Directors and private equity investors.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements; manage external audits and tax filings.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team; implement scalable systems and processes to support growth.
• Manage company cash flow, capital allocation, and debt / equity financing.
• Implement and monitor KPIs, cost controls, and unit-level financial performance metrics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Development, HR, and Marketing to support business initiatives and ensure alignment on financial goals.
