Position Summary

Sovah Health is looking for the ideal candidate who will provide primary or acute healthcare services for certain acute or chronic health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Education

Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Program required or Master's in Nursing.

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications :

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Licenses :

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia and licensed by the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a Nurse Practitioner required

Current national certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses' Credentialing Center or other credentialing center recognized by the board (See Regulations governing the Licensure of Nurse Practitioners published by the Virginia Board of Nursing / Virginia Board of Medicine) required

Current Authorization to Prescribe by the State of Virginia required

Current Controlled Substance Registration required
