Description

LTC Language Solutions is looking for skilled, freelance, contract American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter in the Houston,TX area for a weekly assignment over 50 weeks.

Here is what you get to do :

  • Provide high-quality, in-person sign language interpretation at various client locations in and around WOODBRIDGE, Virginia.
  • Accurately interpret in various medical and community settings.
  • Ensure language access is provided.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Choose your own assignments for interpretation
  • Strong understanding of sign language and Deaf culture

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in American Sign Language
  • 3+ years of ASL interpreting experience
  • Passionate about providing language access
  • NIC certification or higher
  • Follow RID Interpreter Code of Ethics

    • This is a 1099, contract, freelance sign language interpreter position. You will work as needed and choose your own assignments.
