Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in serving K-12 students within a school setting. This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA, and offers a full school year (CSY) contract.
Responsibilities include :
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of student evaluations and therapy sessions.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive support services.
Qualifications :
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).Experience working in school settings with K-12 populations.Strong understanding of speech and language development, as well as evidence-based intervention techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and educational staff.Ability to manage caseload efficiently and adapt therapy methods to meet diverse student needs.Location : This position is located in Sunnyvale, California, within a dynamic K-12 school environment.
