The position will support projects in the HDR San Francisco Health or Education and Science "Ed-Sci" Studio. In Health, project types include hospitals, clinics, and related facilities; In Ed-Sci, projects include research and development facilities for academic, government, corporate, and biopharma clients. Projects may include health delivery, research, imaging, metrology, teaching, testing, and pre-production facilities in public health, life sciences, physical sciences, biocontainment, and related support facilities.

In the role of Senior Project Architect, you'll :

• Lead a multidiscipline team and perform layout and detailing on architectural projects
• Coordinate work of a multidiscipline team through multiple project phases
• Establish owner / client and internal meetings, and participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance
• Conduct work sessions at project sites with the Project Manager and other disciplines
• Coordinate workload of team members to complete documents on schedule
• Review architectural documents for conflicts with other disciplines
• Perform QA / QC and technical reviews
• Write and edit architectural specifications
• Coordinate with disciplines on addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders
• Incorporate changes into project documents
• Lead projects in dual management roles as needed
• Provide construction contract administration as needed
• Perform other duties as required
