Position Summary :

The Department of Physics and Engineering at the University of St. Thomas invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in electrical engineering. We seek candidates passionate about teaching and hands-on education with a strong experimental research and teaching background in electrical engineering who are enthusiastic about mentoring undergraduate students and supporting applied learning.

Key Responsibilities :

• Teach undergraduate courses in electrical engineering
• Develop, update, and manage laboratory curricula and experiments
• Supervise undergraduate student projects and capstone design experiences
• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development and program assessment
• Engage in professional development and / or applied research related to experimental electrical engineering education.
• Provide academic advising and mentoring to students as needed
• Service activities as needed by the department and the university
• Developing a research program involving and suited for undergraduate student participation
