Telemetry RN Job Details

Location : Martinsburg, WV 25401 (West Virginia nursing jobs)

Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – Telemetry Unit (20-bed, all private rooms)

Contract Length : 13-week contract

Start Date : November 26, 2025

End Date : February 25, 2026

Shift : Night shift – 12-hour shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Hours : 36 hours per week (full-time nursing job)

Schedule : Every other weekend and holiday rotations

Charting System : Epic EMR

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1880 - $2020

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (WV or compact state)

BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care or telemetry nursing experience

Proficient in cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring

Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays

Strong communication and documentation skills

Professional appearance (navy blue scrubs, natural hair color, tattoos covered)

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients, including cardiac monitoring and medication administration

Monitor and document cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry strips every 4 hours, and ensure accurate charting in Epic EMR

Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Manage common cardiac diagnoses such as chest pain, post-cardiac intervention, NSTEMI, and post-surgical patients

Float to overflow telemetry or Ortho / MedSurg units as needed

Participate in unit orientation and ongoing nursing education

Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and the healthcare team
