Montefiore Nyack Hospital is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join their established 3 physician GI group as part of the Montefiore Health System. The position would have a good mix of inpatient and outpatient care. Fellows are welcome to apply. On call coverage is required 1 : 5.

The offices are located in Nyack NY, just 19 miles north of the George Washington Bridge in Rockland County, NY. Nyack is a trendy vibrant community on the Hudson River with easy access to NYC via public transportation. Ability to live in Rockland, Bergen or Westchester Counties. Drive to midtown Manhattan in 35 minutes from our office for the afternoon or have easy access to Harriman State Park and Bear Mountain, West Point and lower Hudson valley. Nearby Tarrytown Train Station is a 35-minute ride to Grand Central Station.

The FJ Borelli Family Emergency Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital offers safe, high-quality emergency care. As a designated Level III Trauma Center, it has proven its ability to provide prompt assessment, resuscitation, surgery, intensive care and stabilization of injured patients. The Center offers a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Unit, an Express Care area for non-life-threatening emergency cases and X-ray rooms outfitted with a CT scanner to expedite patient care. The hospital's Cardiac Catheterization Lab is led by a team of cardiovascular experts who diagnose and treat heart conditions, such as coronary artery disease, heart valve disease and congestive heart failure, using minimally invasive procedures. Available treatments include pacemaker implantation, stent insertion, removal of blood clots in the lungs and the treatment of heart blockages. This program, a partnership with the Montefiore Health System and Montefiore Einstein, enables us to deliver academic medicine-and the very best care-right here in our community. The Joint Replacement Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital is a unique and highly specialized facility dedicated to the surgical replacement and repair of hip and knee joints, as well as postsurgical rehabilitation. The Center has received the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for its hip and knee joint replacement programs. It was the first to achieve this distinction in the lower Hudson Valley.
