The Village Vets Stone Mountain sits on the corner of Stone Mountain and Lilburn. We are seeking an experienced DVM to join their inclusive, diverse, and team-oriented family. We have in-house diagnostic abilities including Idexx lab machines, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, and ultrasound. Our hospital has separate surgery and dental suites. Doctor's hours are 8 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM Monday - Friday and only 8 : 00 AM - 2 : 00 PM on Saturdays. We pride ourselves on a team-oriented culture with state-of-the-art equipment. AAA Accredited We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our growing hospital to provide exceptional care to our patients! You will work alongside other skilled Vet Assistants, support our Credentialed Veterinary Technicians and DVMs in the daily flow of the hospital. Position Skills :

• Assist DVMs and credentialed veterinary technicians with appointments, prepping patients for surgery and minor procedures, surgical assisting, and proactively set up for any procedures or diagnostic tests
• Restrain animals in a safe, efficient, and caring manner
• Obtain accurate vitals, obtain medical histories, and / or note any changes of patient's condition to DVM
• Collect and prepare laboratory samples such as fecal, urine, and ear cytologies
• Care and maintenance of all medical equipment including laboratory machines, surgical packs, anesthesia machines, and any other tools that are essential to daily operations
• High quality client communication on patient updates and questions

Position Requirements :

Pay range of $12.35-$20.90 / hour based on experience
