Contractor Program Manager

Position Title : Contractor Program Manager

Pay Rate : $172,550 - $212,000. Multiple factors, including individual experience, skills, and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

Category / Shift : Salaried Full-Time

Physical Location : 6400 Poplar Avenue Memphis, TN. With an option to be a remote position for a candidate with towering skillsets and qualifications. Relocation will be paid, if required for the selected candidate.

The Job You Will Perform

  • Lead implementing Business Partner Safety Performance Standards in manufacturing facilities.
  • Ensure that facilities understand and implement the Business Partner Performance Standard.
  • Work to ensure that the Business Partners working for International Paper are 100% committed to working safety according to the Business Partner Safety Performance Standard with commitment to reducing and eliminating SIFs.
  • Developing site HSE coordinators with appropriate competencies and skill sets needed to effectively lead and sustain HSE programs at the facility for Business Partners.
  • Support additional safety excellence rollouts or changes that will impact on-site Business Partners.
  • Ensure that Continuous Improvement and Deliberate Improvement in Business Partner Safety Management continues to incorporate Best Practices, and those improvements are captured in our HSE Management System and Sourcing documents.
  • Update existing management systems as needed. Be the Point of Contact between ISNet / Tappi Safe and Business Partners for IP's successful use of both systems.

The Skills You Will Bring

  • 10+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or other related degree. Applicants with a background in HSE should have some level of project management related experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; presentation and training delivery skills.
  • Working knowledge of the IP Business Partner (Contractor) management process.
  • Working knowledge of safety related policy, procedures, and regulations.
  • Position can be regionally located. Candidate must be able to travel frequently to IP and Business Partner (Contractor) locations.
