Position Summary : As a Construction Manager you will manage daily operations of self-performing installation staff subcontractors while they are engaged in the construction installation and in-service testing of all project-related Telecom communications systems. You will act as the liaison between crew and the Project Manager. You will be responsible for all facets of in-field execution.
What You Will Do :
- Participates in bid walks / pre-con walks
- Handles landlord coordination with respect to scheduling and managing expectations
- Scheduling any rental equipment
- Submitting supplemental material request (Sup BOMs)
- Reviewing drawings for future sites
- Go over drawings and all other construction documents with foreman on first day of construction
- Report status of jobs
- Getting the crew any supplemental material that they need
coordinating deliveries with the warehouse or delivering material yourself
Onsite for any crane picks or other critical scopesKeep crew on schedule and on top of deliverablesvisit site at least twice a week and provide accurate updates
Onsite final day of construction to make sure site is actually built per the scope and true up of any unused materialSchedule a trash-outClosing building permitsCompleting as built / redlinesChasing down deliverables and making sure that they are submittedTimely follow up with landlord to ensure job satisfactionWhat You Will Need :
A minimum of three (3) years experience supporting Project Managers within the telecommunications field.OSHA 30Advanced knowledge of construction management processes means and methodsExpert knowledge of wireless products construction details as well as relevant rules and regulations.Customer quality standardsWorking knowledge of Office SuitePhysical Demands / Environmental Conditions :
