Locum Tenens Opportunity for Gastroenterologist in Pioneer, CA

Profession : Physician, Gastroenterologist
Shift(s) Description :

Schedule : Monday 8am - Monday 8am (7 days), with additional dates as needed

Shift Times : 8am-5pm in-house, with phone call coverage from 5pm to 8am

Weekend Requirements : Yes

On-Call Requirements : Yes

Start Date : As soon as credentialed

Average Worked Callback Hours : 4.8 (national average)

Setting : Inpatient

Duties : Provide in-house coverage for ED consults and inpatient consults

FTE : 1.0

Required Procedures : Colonoscopy, endoscopy, ERCP if possible

EMR : Cerner

Support Staff : Yes, in the endo room

Reason for Coverage : Shortage of GI physicians for call

Dealbreakers : Red flags in application that would delay credentialing

Additional Details :

Admissions per Day : Depends on ED activity

Patients / Day : 10-15 on average

Types of Cases : General acute GI patients

Schedule / Availability Requirements :
