Responsibilities
This is an onsite position in Phoenix, AZManage and lead shop crew toward the successful completion of tradeshow / retail refurbishment, assembly and construction work.Plan, organize, and lead workflow through crewCommunicate appropriate schedule, policy, and company communications with crew membersAddress crew discipline through the enforcement of policies including but not limited to attendance, safety, & TRUE compliance, elevating to supervisor as necessaryReview for accuracy, approve, and distribute to production office all crew time cards, vacation / sick / bereavement / jury duty forms, material tickets, and packing listsParticipate in necessary Put-to-Work planning meetings and Safety meetingsTrack estimated project hours vs. actual project hours, keeping actual hours within estimate. Any required work that is outside the original scope should be reported to the Project Manager.Participate in the hiring and layoff process for all carpentry personnelOversee quality control, ensuring company standards are metEnsure crew working areas are both safe and clean, reporting any safety issues to supervisorSupport monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventory requirementsAccount for and ensure proper working order of tools assigned to or located in work crewMaintain communications in a cooperative, respectful and professional manner with all levels of staff and customersQualifications

Proven carpentry knowledge, ability and experienceProven ability to supervise, lead and manage personnelProven experience in exhibit business or related fieldStrong computer and organizational skillsProven experience with hand tools, power tools and woodworking machineryForklift experience (will certify once hired)Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlinesAbility to read and follow blueprint and work order details thoroughlyAbility to train and mentor new and existing employeesAbility to communicate respectfully, honestly and constructivelyFamiliarity with CNC Setup, Machining and OperationBenefits
