General Certification Requirements :

BLS

ARRT (R) and CT

Department Details :

Scanners / Rooms : 1 CT scanner, 1 plain film room, 1 portable unit

Floating : May possibly float to other locations, but unlikely

Common Studies : Ortho, portable imaging, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, CTA

Key Skills : Strong teamwork

Average Studies per Day : 10–15

EMR / PACS : Epic, Synapse

Equipment : Siemens, Carestream portable (GE units at other locations)

Supervisor / Lead : Lead Tech at each site

RRA Used : No

Radiologist On-Site : No

IV Starts : Preferred

Scheduling :

Self-scheduling allowed; manager may adjust to balance coverage

Weekends : Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Holidays : One summer and one winter holiday off

Call / Standby : None

Scrub Color : Gray (scrubs not provided)

Orientation : 2 days department-specific

Additional Notes :

Will be trained in POC lab

Will support nursing staff

Role includes both plain film and CT imaging
