RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Own and manage daily operations for delivery, inventory, and shipping.
  • Develop and implement procedures and work instructions for material control systems.
  • Lead material planning from raw materials through finished goods.
  • Coordinate and execute physical inventory in conjunction with Finance and other departments.
  • Track and report on standard metrics related to material operations.
  • Establish and monitor safety stocks, min / max levels, material flow, and storage locations.
  • Implement improved office procedures and software systems to increase efficiency.
  • Lead month-end close processes including inventory reconciliation and adjustments.
  • Monitor and execute cycle counts, accuracy checks, and issue resolution

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor"s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field, or 8+ years of experience in automotive OEM materials management.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Materials Manager or Supervisor in a plant / manufacturing environment.
  • Automotive experience required - OEM or Tier 1 (Ford preferred)
  • Hands-on experience managing material flow and inventory in a high-volume setting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends.
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with PLEX or similar ERP / MRP systems.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, turnaround plant setting.

    • PREFERRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Ford manufacturing program experience.
  • APICS CPIM and / or CSCP certification.
  • Experience working within Ford protocols and systems.
