Nurse Practitioner / Physicians Assistant (Geriatrics) Experience Preferred

Job Summary :

We are looking for a dedicated Provider to join our healthcare team. We have multiple openings in Manhattan, the Upper West side, and Harlem as well as many other counties and states. The ideal candidate should have a strong nursing background and expertise in various medical treatments and care settings. As a Nurse Practitioner / Physicians Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Duties :

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Administer treatments, including acute pain management.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare team members for coordinated patient care.
• Utilize ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes.
• Engage in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients.
• Perform sterile processing of medical equipment.
• Apply physiology knowledge to enhance patient care outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients in a teaching hospital or outpatient setting.
• Handle specimen collection processing efficiently.

Experience :

Experience in diverse patient care settings such as hospitals or assisted living facilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality care standards.
