About The Position

Job Title : Admin Clinical Supervisor / House Supervisor

Experience : Three to five years as a Registered Nurse, preferably in telemetry, emergency department, or critical care. Charge nurse or equivalent management experience required.

License : Current Registered Nurse license.

Certifications : Current CPR. Additional certifications may be required based on specific area of employment.

Must-Have :

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) must be obtained within three years of employment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in directing and guiding personnel.

Description :

Provides overall direction and general administration of the hospital in coordination with or in the absence of hospital administration personnel.

Issues addressed typically involve public relations, safety, risk prevention, patient satisfaction, staff satisfaction, physician satisfaction, and protection of physical assets.

The Admin Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the house within the hospital setting.

This role requires extensive communication between departments and may involve pulling resources where needed.

Mentoring newer nurses in various departments is a key part of the role.

Responsibilities include bed placement and patient assignment for the inpatient unit.

The individual may also assist with medication mixing after pharmacy hours.

A high level of oversight is expected in this position.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in guiding and directing personnel.
