Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Jacksonville, NC 28546

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 23 / 2026)

Nursing Shift : Nights, 12-hour shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Schedule : 3x12s or 4x12s per week

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,680 – $1,800

Healthcare Setting : Med / Surg Telemetry Unit (42 beds)

Patient Ratio : 1 : 6

Weekend and holiday shifts included

No on-call required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience

Current ACLS and BLS certifications

CPI certification required

Proficiency with insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips

COVID-19 vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Willingness to float to similar or lower acuity units as needed

Travel nurses must live at least 50 miles from facility

RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal, general surgery, and orthopedic conditions

Monitor and manage telemetry patients; administer medications including insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team (RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNAs, unit secretaries)

Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions

Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed based on census

Participate in weekend and holiday rotations

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment
