We're seeking a Fire Sprinkler Estimator to join our team and help drive the growth of our installation group. If you're skilled at interpreting construction drawings, conducting surveys, developing bid designs, and understanding fire protection requirements for various building types, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities :
- Review and interpret commercial and residential construction drawings and project plans to develop conceptual fire sprinkler design.
- Conduct job site visits and surveys of existing fire sprinkler systems.
- Analyze building types to determine the appropriate fire protection measures.
- Utilize estimating tools to create accurate cost estimates.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, and 20 Standards and applicable building codes and municipal codes.
- Willing to expand into an Outside Sales roll.
Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years of experience as a sprinkler designer preferred.Field experience in fire sprinkler installations is highly desired, but not required.NICET Level I, II, or III in Fire Sprinkler Design certification is preferred.Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and building construction types.Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to helping the design and installation team grow.While some remote work may be acceptable, primary work location is at Branch Office.Proven ability and track record of performing work and meeting deadlines with minimum to no supervision.Coordinates and works well with others.Willingness to develop sales and customer service skills.Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software, Service Trade experience is a plus.Other Duties :
