DaVita Integrated Kidney Care (DaVita IKC) is one of the largest end-to-end kidney care providers; we manage $5.5B+ in annualized medical spend through value-based partnerships. We provide comprehensive care and complex chronic condition management to 80k+ patients nationwide, whether they are in the early stages of kidney disease, transitioning to dialysis, seeking a kidney transplant or receiving life-sustaining dialysis.

DaVita IKC delivers holistic, value-based care across the kidney journey-from early-stage CKD through dialysis or transplant preparation-by partnering closely with patients, teammates, and physician groups. As VP, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) , you will shape clinical strategy, elevate quality, and lead cross-functional teams to improve outcomes and total cost of care for CKD and ESKD populations.

This role is more than a title, it's a platform to build and scale care models, strengthen clinical governance, and mentor clinicians in a high-growth, innovation-oriented environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Clinical Strategy & Operational Oversight

• Lead IKC clinical care models across markets to reduce hospitalizations, improve engagement, and lower total cost of care.
• Design and implement clinical infrastructure, metrics, and milestones aligned to DaVita initiatives (e.g., CKD / ESKD programs, home therapies).
• Guide model-of-care development and implementation (e.g., CKCC and other value-based programs) in partnership with physician practices and internal teams.
• Review population-level data (utilization, quality, risk) and drive evidence-based changes to strategy and process.
• Partner with Home Dialysis leadership to expand home treatment options within IKC.
• Oversee regulatory and compliance considerations for clinical programs; contribute to risk stratification and safety oversight.
• Build strong relationships with partner nephrologists; advance shared clinical governance and physician accountability.

5+ years nephrology clinical practice experience or relevant clinical experience within value-based care for patients with poly-chronic disease.

The Salary Range for the role is $275,000.00 - $382,000.00 per year.
