Unit Overview :
Join our dynamic 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, where you will provide care to complex patients, including :
Post-operative cases like craniotomies for bleed evacuations, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Patients recovering from hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.This unit offers exposure to innovative neurosurgical techniques and state-of-the-art treatment.

Assess patient needs, plan individualized interventions, and evaluate care effectiveness.Monitor patients and adapt care plans in response to significant changes in condition.Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring patient safety and readiness to learn.Coordinate discharge planning using an interdisciplinary approach.Provide leadership and collaboration within the care team, delegating tasks as appropriate.Participate in quality improvement initiatives for better patient outcomes.Licensure, Registration, and Certification Required :
Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA.Education Required :
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.Experience Required :
Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
