Highland Roofing Company is looking for an experienced Safety & Risk Manager to lead and strengthen our safety program across our offices in Charlotte, Raleigh / Garner, and Wilmington, NC . The position can be based at any of our three offices.

You'll play a key role in keeping our teams safe, supporting our job sites, and building a strong safety culture company-wide.

What You'll Focus On :

  • Developing and improving safety programs and policies
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations (especially OSHA)
  • Conducting site audits and safety inspections
  • Leading risk assessments and accident investigations
  • Delivering safety training and education
  • Promoting a strong safety culture across all teams
  • Managing safety documentation and reporting
  • Overseeing safety gear and equipment needs
  • Supporting emergency preparedness
  • Driving continuous improvement in all safety practices

  • What We're Looking For :

    We're seeking someone with a strong background in construction safety and a passion for building safe, efficient job sites. Ideally, you'll have :

  • 5+ years of safety management experience in commercial construction
  • Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices
  • A track record of scaling safety operations across multiple sites or regions
  • Strong skills in hazard identification , training delivery, and emergency planning
  • A bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety , construction management, engineering, or a related field
  • Certifications like CSP , OSHA 30 / 500 , or similar (preferred but not required)
