Job description150-180 PICU admits per year (average per shift is 3-5) 200-260 intermediate admits per year (average per shift is 2-7) Support staff : ICU team, 1 clinical nurse specialist, ancillary staff : child life, pastoral services, nutrition, social services, PT / OT, speech, pediatric sedation service in place Schedule : Day shifts are 7am-5pm, night shifts are 5pm-7am; needing coverage for Dec / Jan and beyond Credential in 60-90 days Must be board certified or eligible in pediatric medicine or pediatric hospital medicine Active IL license or IMLC accepted Maintain and active and unrestricted DEA license Competitive salary - Weekly paychecks Travel / lodging reimbursements may be covered 100% of malpractice insurance covered
We are looking for a locum tenens physician to provide coverage as a pediatric hospitalist for a major hospital in the Champaign - Urbana area (Level 1 Trauma center).
