Job Summary :

The Buyer II is responsible for purchasing components and raw materials, managing project schedules, and maintaining products. This role involves developing commodity strategies, sourcing, negotiating, executing budgets, and interfacing with suppliers and internal stakeholders. The Buyer II also resolves cross-functional issues to ensure effective purchase orders and supplier performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Determine order quantities for accurate material supply.
• Identify needs and place timely purchase orders.
• Recommend make / buy decisions based on cost analysis.
• Ensure timely delivery and order completion.
• Manage material utilization and adjust for Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Issue complex purchase orders and maintain inventory.
• Engage in international supply chain activities.
• Create competitive bids for cost reduction.
• Support engineering change controls and maintenance plans.
• Participate in Supply Chain meetings.
• Maintain safety standards and adhere to ISO 9000 policies.

Required Skills and Experience :

Independent and team work to meet deadlines.
