Schedule Details :
Nights, with 8 and 12-hour shifts, every third weekend rotation, and holiday rotation.
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

Unit Overview : Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, caring for a diverse patient population, including :
Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.High volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, along with medical overflow cases.As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII), you will gain exposure to the latest neurosurgical techniques and cutting-edge care.

Assess patient needs, plan individualized interventions, and evaluate care effectiveness.Recognize changes in patient condition and modify care as necessary.Implement strategies to enhance patient safety and reduce risks.Coordinate discharge planning using an interdisciplinary approach.Evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes; act to improve whenever possible.Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with healthcare teams.Promote patient safety by identifying and reporting potential issues.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.Licensure, Registration, and Certification Required :
Registered Nurse license for the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).Education Required :
Completion of an accredited program in Nursing.Experience Required :
Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
