An Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician is needed for a 1099 locum tenens position in Iowa starting September 2024. The role involves providing full-time clinic coverage with on-call responsibilities, including low and high-risk deliveries and C-sections. Compensation ranges from $310-$320 per hour, with travel and lodging expenses covered.

Length / Need : 1 provider needed

Travel & Lodging will be covered or reimbursed

Medical Malpractice will be covered Do need emergent C section back up if on call at the same time

Compensation :

$310-$320 hourly

Schedule :

Clinic + Call

Full time coverage needed M-F clinic (7a-5p)

24 Hour Call -Delivery / C-Sections (Friday 5p - Monday 7a)

Can potentially cover weeknight call as well if interested

Details :

Facility is Level II, EMR is Cerner

Low risk and high risk deliveries; complicated & routine

Credentialing takes 35-40 days

Procedures :

Low risk pregnancy (i.e. history of twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis, etc.)

High risk pregnancy (i.e. with toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiacs, chronic lung problems, chronic renal disease, etc.)

FHR interpretation NST / CST / FSE x VBAC s

Routine delivery Vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section

Complicated delivery C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc.

VBAC s

Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

Requirements :

Board Certified

Active IA license or IMLC

BLS, NRP, EFM cert

Clean Malpractice

Covid Vaccination

Must have experience with Emergency C Sections
