Job description

Role : StarRocks Database Engineer.

Location : Irving TX (Onsite).

Duration : Long Term Contract.

Key Responsibilities :

Optimize and tune StarRocks database performance for high-volume analytical workloads.
Ensure high availability reliability disaster recovery (DR) and observability across the StarRocks environment.
Conduct root-cause analysis and performance diagnostics for database and platform issues.
Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance data pipelines and OLAP query performance.
Support operational stability within Kubernetes-based deployments.

Required Skills :

Hands-on expertise with StarRocks database architecture performance tuning and administration.

Strong understanding of high availability DR strategies and observability frameworks.

Experience working with Kubernetes clusters.

Background in OLAP database tuning and columnar database technologies.

Preferred Experience :

Prior work with modern analytical data platforms or distributed query engines.

Experience with performance diagnosis and optimization in large-scale environments.
