Summary
King County Metro Transit is hiring a System Administrator ( Project Program Manager II) to join Central Services within the Capital Division of Metro Transit Department. As a System Administrator you will be responsible for providing application support to users of Metros Capital Management Reporting System or CMRS. CMRS supports the implementation of capital projects for the Department. The system includes planning budgeting and contracts modules. Initially this position will support the Project Controls Offices efforts to make improvements to their contracts modules with additional duties assigned as this work progresses.

This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) T erm Limited Temporary / Special Duty Assignment (TLT / SDA) position . The duration of this assignment is anticipated to be 2 years with the possibility to extend . In addition this selection process may be used to generate an eligibility pool for future Career Service Special Duty Assignment Term Limited Temporary or Short-Term Temporary vacancies that may occur in this classification within this workgroup. The eligibility pool will be retained for 12 months from the date of selection and may be extended and used at the discretion of the hiring authority.

The main work site associated with these positions is King Street Center 201 S. Jackson St Seattle WA 98104.
Telecommuting Requirement :
This is a hybrid position with work performed both remotely and onsite at various King County facilities. Employees will be provided with a County-issued laptop and are required to maintain a workspace with a reliable internet connection allowing them to perform their duties effectively and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours.
Employees must reside in WA state and within a reasonable distance of their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements. There will be situations where the employee is required to report to a county worksite.
Work Schedule :
Our regular business hours are 40 hours per week Monday through Friday. However work outside of these hours may occasionally be required. Alternative work schedules may be considered. This position is non-exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and therefore is eligible for overtime pay.
